How can you harness this incredible plant power

When you get to a certain age (for me it was in my very early 30’s) you start to notice your skin isn’t as youthful, and glowy as it used to be. This prompted me to look for more powerhouse ingredients to really make a difference.

My skin was lacking glow, and I struggled with uneven skin tone and texture. (You can read about specifically targeting uneven skin tone in this article.

I wanted to develop a range that targeted specific problems, and one of those problems was the fear of aging skin.

When researching what botanical provided the skin with the most anti-aging benefits, hibiscus was sitting pretty at the top of my list. I actually discovered many powerful properties when formulating my own floral glycerites.

Purple Clay Dry Powder Face Mask Hibiscus

I used the hibiscus glycerites in my lotions and potions and found its properties to be extremely effective at plumping my skin. I chose to use dried hibiscus flower extract in my anhydrous clay face masks because of this discovery.

My purple clay mask was born out of the need for natural ingredients that could promote collagen production, even out skin tone and reduce the appearance of large and dirty pores to give you back that youthful supple skin you once had, and age gracefully.

What benefits can I expect to see for my skin?

Believe it or not nature has provided you with everything you need for hydrated, supple and youthful skin. And you can feel the instant effects from the very first use (see what our other customers have to say here)

Hibiscus has natural surfactants that purifies and cleanses skin without stripping it of its natural oils. Making it very gentle so it won’t leave your skin feeling sensitive and stiff, yet highly effective as it encourages a smoother younger looking complexion. This super soft abrasion means that it’s suitable for even the most sensitive prone of skin types.

It also contains special antioxidants called Anthocyanosides which have natural astringent effects that control excess oily skin and reduce the appearance of large pores as well as anti-inflammatory properties that reduce skin inflammation!

Skin care is about healthy skin, not perfect skin - just like with our bodies. And we can embrace our aging skin, and age graciously and confidently without any shame.

When should I start to use Hibiscus in my skincare?

If you’re worried about ageing and have lifeless, lacklustre skin that’s in need of plumping, rejuvenating and collagen boost, it’s time to use hibiscus on your skin today!

Got an uneven skin tone, hyperpigmentation, dark spots and other discolorations? It contains AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) including citric and malic acid that have exfoliating powers which speed up cell turnover, revealing fresh new lighter skin!

Look for natural skincare products (like ours) that don't include any harsh chemicals or synthetic ingredients – only ones derived directly from nature.

Many alternative skincare products contain many fillers and preservatives. Surgeries can be invasive, not preventative, i.e. short term effects that don't last and require further treatments which can be costly.

But if you really want to prevent those wrinkles and prolong your youthful 20’s skin, it’s not too late to start precautionary anti-aging measures to start looking after your skin.
